  Welcome to the official site of the Southern Middle Tennessee Youth Rodeo Association. The SMTYRA was developed in 2002 by a group of parents that had the common desire to provide youth of today the opportunity to compete and learn the sport of Rodeo. The Southern Middle Tennessee Pavilion and city of Winchester, Tn. opened their arms in welcome. Since the start in 2002 the SMTYRA has grown to well over 100 contestant members and hold 12 rodeos each year. These rodeos attract contestants from all over Tennessee and surrounding states Georgia and Alabama.
